A little more than minimalism - Style Story

For my second "Style Story" assignment, I had to explore my own personal style, which consisted of taking pictures of items of mine that were important to me, and that I thought helped describe who I am and then place them on a mood board. To create this look, I took my a few of my favorite staple pieces to create a more minimalist look. I've also been actively trying to stop shopping fast fashion, so most pieces from my wardrobe are thrifted, gifted, or have been in my closet for years, so unfortunately I can't really give a "where to find this item" type of breakdown.

I've been really into more minimalist looks as of recent, in an effort to cut down on my consumption of fast fashion goods, so I created a casual minimal look paired with items that add a bit of pop.

For this look, I took a plain white crop top I bought from Garage 3 years ago, a lightwash denim skirt a friend bought at a church fair a few summers ago (and then didn't like, so she gave it to me), my pink one-piece lens sunglasses, leopard print flats, and some gold statement jewelry (that I most definitely stole from my mom's jewelry box when I was in middle school...)
